14. Kurt Angle - WCW Fall Brawl - 09.26.2006
After WCW won the invasion and the combined RCW, WCW, WWF and XWWS rosters were all competing as WCW wrestlers, the return of the developmental WCW Saturday Night brand and the successful implementation of a brand extension between WCW Nitro and WCW Thunder was needed to manage the enormous roster. Through a legal loophole, former XWWS boss Gregory Shaddix won control of WCW's Thunder show. The second run for both the brand extension and the developmental show was a tremendous success. Once again old NWA titles were brought back under the WCW banner as the WCW Mid-Atlantic title (as well as it’s tag team counterpart) was the exclusive property of the developmental show. This second run for WCW Saturday Night buckled under the weight of its own success, as most of the wrestlers in it were all promoted to either Nitro or Thunder, so the titles were made inactive.
Kurt Angle defeats Hollywood Hogan at September's Fall Brawl PPV. Avenger costs Hogan the title against Angle, thus leaving the nWo. This FallBrawl event was also the exodus for 99% of the 'real' wrestlers.
15. Jonny Pyro - WCW World War 3 - 11.26.2006
At the same time as the brand extension between Nitro and Thunder was happening, the relationship between Ted Turner and Eric Bischoff became strained, which would lead to Eric Bischoff walking away from the day-to-day running of WCW. Turner bought the rights to Extreme Championship Wrestling in October, gave Paul Heyman complete creative control, and attempted to have WCW Nitro, WCW Thunder and ECW Hardcore Revolution all compete on the same level with each other. Things did not go well for the ECW brand at all, and after only around a month, it was canceled. It's first World Champion had his ECW World title quietly unified into the WCW World Heavyweight Title.
Throughout October, WCW Nitro General Manager Chris Lionheart begins to become corrupt with power and acts in-cahoots with world title contender Johnny Pyro. Lionheart and Pyro would go-onto screw Goldberg's chances of beating Kurt Angle at October's Halloween Havoc PPV. Jonny Pyro then steals Kurt Angle's WCW World Title belt and holds it ransom throughout November, leading to Kurt Angle vs Pyro at November's World War 3.
16. Scott Manor - WCW Thunder - 12.18.2006
Throughout November Eric Bischoff stepped-away to focus on the business side of the company, leaving Chris Lionheart as the Acting President of WCW, and also Nitro General Manager. Gregory Shaddix would come to be replaced in November, as Christian MoneyMaker took over his position as Thunder General Manager. Due to Chris Lionheart's corruption, the Nitro brand kept the WCW World Heavyweight Title, and Thunder was without any World Title. Eric Bischoff returned for one-night-only at WCW World War 3, to award Thunder with a title equal to that of Nitro's. The title he awarded to Thunder was the WCW Classic/Original title, which had been used when Ric Flair took the 'Big Gold Belt' to WWF in the early 1990s. The Avenger is shipped off to Christian MoneyMaker's Thunder with the Original WCW belt, to reward him after Pryo and Lionheart had continually denied him a title shot in November. However Christian MoneyMaker declares a tournament takes place on Thunder to crown the first champion. Scott Manor wins this tournament and the WCW Original Title.
17. Scott Manor (2) - TNB ShowDown - 12.25.2006
In December 2006 WCW was bought by mysterious 'new owners'. Newly appointed sole General Manager Christian MoneyMaker called for a complete company restructure and re-branding. The company began promoting events under the name 'The New Blood Wrestling'. The WCW Cruiserweight title was renamed into the TNB Cruiserweight title. The WCW United States title was renamed into the TNB United States title when the company changed name. The Classic WCW Title was unified into the WCW World Heayweight Title, when Scott Manor defeated Johnny Pyro on Christmas Day 2006 – officially marking the end of WCW and the start of TNB which had been taking place since November. This unified lineage was referred to as the TNB 1st Generation Undisputed Title, and the 'Big Gold Belt' was used temporarily to represent it.
18. Chris Steel - TNB ShowDown - 01.15.2007
A brand new title belt with the same design, but with TNB letter engravings on it rather than using the WCW World Heavyweight title belt as hold-over was created, referred to as the TNB 2nd Generation Undisputed Title. TNB also brought back the WCW Television title in January and renamed it the TNB Television title. WCW's PRO belt was won by Dynamite, and also in January 2007 LXW was purchased by TNB. At the time Dynamite was also the holder of the LXW version of the PRO title, and so both belts are replaced by a new TNB PRO title. However the title was unified into the TNB Television title shortly after-wards. Another brand-new title belt was also created in January, but the TNB National title was short lived and was unified into the TNB United States title on 5th March.
19. Dirty White Boy - TNB Aggression - 01.29.2007
20. Scott Manor (3) - TNB ShowDown - 02.12.2007
21. Genesis - TNB Revolution - 02.25.2007
22. Chris Steel - TNB ShowDown - 03.12.2007
23. The Avenger (3) - TNB Collision Course - 03.26.2007
2007's Collision Course featured TNB vs. XWA it's opening matches. It was headlined by a 16 Man Tournament where the winner would become the first TNB Tradition champion, and the runner-up would become the first TNB Evolution champion. Current Champions at the beginning of the night (World: Chris Steel, US: Malachi Payne. TV: Max Cutter, Tag Team: Reaper & Slayer, Cruiserweight: Ewan Cameron, Woman: Christina Dixon) were not able to participate in the 16 man tournament. The Avenger defeated Chris Steel for the TNB Undisputed Title earlier in the night before the tournament took place.
The winner of the tournament for the new titles was The Avenger, and he should have been awarded the Tradition title. The runner-up was Genesis, and he should have been awarded the Evolution champion. However TNB rules stated that wrestlers could not hold more than one title belt at a time. This meant that The Avenger was forced to give up his Tradition title, which was then awarded to the tournament runner-up, Genesis. In turn Genesis could not hold both the Tradition and Evolution titles at the same time due to the same rule, so the Evolution title was awarded to the second runner up, Kratos.
24. Chris Steel (3) - TNB ShowDown - 04.16.2007
25. The Avenger (4) - XWA Solstice - 06.28.2007
Although the company was on hiatus, Chris Lionheart did try to keep things afloat without a TV deal, and there was talk of doing another PPV. Although this PPV would never become a reality during the time since TNB had gone on hiatus the Undisputed champion Chris Steel had retired and the former undisputed number one contender, Shia Storm, was aligned against TNB wrestlers as they battled for acceptance as they tried to assimilate into a New York-based company. Therefore the World Title was awarded to the previous champion whom Chris Steel had defeated for the title, The Avenger. However, Chris Lionheart declared this greatly devalued the history of the title to simply have it awarded instead of earnt. He set up a 'Title vs Title' match, The Avenger's TNB World title verses the TNB Tradition title, which Lionheart still held. The winner of the match would merge the two belt's lineages together, and a new physical belt would be made so that it could be kept by the winner forever.
What would become known as the "3rd Generation TNB Undisputed Title", was won by The Avenger in his last match ever in New York. A Steel Cage Match to redefine Steel Cage Matches, many people have said they've never seen one as good before, or since. That was the last time anyone saw the TNB Undisputed Title, or TNB, for a very long time. The very next night after the New York company's August Pay Per View, Chris Lionheart walked out on the company's TV show after losing, and declared The New Blood Wrestling officially over! Perhaps the words of a bitter man. Perhaps the words of a man who simply wanted to refocus his energies and have a fresh canvas with which to paint...
Two months later, in October 2007, a new movement was started - devoid of any mention of TNB. This new company was called New Era Wrestling, but in actual fact it was TNB operating under an assumed name. It's owner and financial backer was still Chris Lionheart, and it's General Manager, Memphis Steel, was actually Christian MoneyMaker under a new name as well. The plan was to run for one year under the New Era moniker before transitioning back into The New Blood Wrestling, but due to financial circumstances NEW was dead before a World Champion was ever crowned.
26. Adrian Kincaid - TNB Ressurection - 06.28.2009
Two years to the day when Avenger defeated Lionheart to close-out the first era of TNB, TNB returned. As The Avenger was not a part of the company yet, a new World Title was made called the TNB Gladiator Title.
27. Micheal Ragen - TNB Abomination - 08.30.2009
28. Tommy Rosario - TNB ShowDown - 09.20.2009
29. The Avenger (5) - TNB Steel City ShowDown - 09.27.2009
When The Avenger won the Gladiator title in late 2009 he also brought back the 3rd Generation TNB Undisputed Title, with the Gladiator title absorbed into it's lineage and the two eras of TNB merged together, the title in it's current form was referred to as the ''4th Generation'' TNB Undisputed Title.
