... Look Marty, I know it's been tough for you. You struggled for years to re-build Can-Am-Wrestling into more than just a wrestling school and back into a full independent company after Chris Lionheart left in 2009 for the newly re-opening Innovation:Wrestling. And I know all about getting stuck in a tough position by him. I know you remember the setback PWL had when he stole Jason Youngblood away from us for that MoneyMakerInc storyline. The fact is that we're independent companies, sometimes we just can't compete with the pro leagues like Innovation:Wrestling and ViralPro. It's happened again recently with Jacob Cass. We were using him in both feds to play up our 'war', and after one impressive showing a ViralPro Pay-Per-View he gets scooped-up. We're just lucky that they let him finish-up his dates at CAW-PWL Bad Intentions. I guess he's happier jobbing at ViralPro than being a big fish in a small pond in the independents.
Marty interrupts Randall, thanking him for his sympathy, but stating that in no uncertain terms did he think that he could make Classic Action Wrestling work. In terms of their 'war', Pro Wrestling Live was seen as the hulking Goliath to CAW's David, despite any momentary interest that Jacob Cass had gotten them. Interest that was ultimately shut-down when Mr. Wrestling had debuted in PWL after leaving ViralPro, and had taken effectively gotten the last laugh against CAW. Marty sounded like a defeated man. Someone who had struggled for far too long without much success, and needed something to reignite his passion and excitement.
Well, how about this for an idea, pal. We have another CAW-PWL co-promoted event soon, and we have PWL 'win the war' so that the fans get a payoff to our two companies feuding. Then I'd be more than happy to cherry-pick Classic Action Wrestling talent that I want to employ here PWL, and buyout their contracts. Of course I would offer you a job and a place on my creative team. You have been a scrappy underdog and fought the good fight for too long, it would be nice to see what it would be like to have you on my team for once. You like the idea of the grand-sendoff and for PWL to purchase select talents? That's great. What's that? You want some time to think-over your own future? That's fine too. If we see you in PWL I'll be the first to shake your hand, but if we don't for whatever reason I'll sincerely wish you the best in whatever your future en-devours will be. Alright, I'll let you go for now, talk to you soon.
Randall Grimes puts the phone down on Marty St. Cool and chuckles. He had known all the long that by working with Class Action Wrestling for a couple of shows would expose how beneath PWL they were. All he had to do now was decide whom he wanted to employ from their roster, and release all the others to the unemployment line...
