Listen to this while reading, and if need be, hit replay until you've finished.
The scene opens up in a dark room, with the only source of light coming from small lamps illuminating various painted pictures throughout the room. The most noticeable painting consist of three paintings side by side. One is a bloody mess of a battle between an armored man , wielding a magnificently made steel sword, and a ferocious lion. The man stands above the lion with his sword impaled through the lions heads, blood spitting out of it's skull, dripping down to the ground beneath it
Beside that painting is one of two children, one boy and one girl, a mother, and a father. The young boy has devil horns, painted cherry red. The young girl has a bright golden halo floating above her head as she begins to float up to the sky, where golden beams are emanating from fluffy white clouds. The parents show the mother, smiling and happy. She's looking off to one of the sides, where here vision isn't focused on any of the family. She is oblivious of all that is happening. The father, his eyes are big black X's. Very plain and to the point.
The last painting is of a kingdom under the attack of odd looking creatures, a mixture of mindless, brain hungry zombies, and devious, attention hungry goblins. The beasts are clearly winning the war. The armored knights are all being double, if not triple teamed by these blood thirsty monsters. They are outnumbering the men that seem to be the good guys, and are slaughtering them viciously. The monsters are ripping the limbs off of the men and feasting on their flesh, while the larger, more powerful of the creatures take the heads of the men and feast on their brains.
Out from one of the corners of the scene walks in a man, wearing all black. His black turtle neck long sleeve shirt was covered by a black leather vest, which draped down over his black cargo shorts. His hands were covered by black skin tight leather gloves. His face is covered and hidden by the mask of Leonardo Da Vinci. The mask looks worn out, with leathery skin. The long grey beard looks silky and smooth.
He stops to admire the paintings, stroking each one with the back of his palm. A soft chuckle can be heard from underneath his mask.
I've taken my time and worked on each one of these master pieces. Each one represents how life truly is.
His voice is modified, deep and with a hideous crackle to it. It was very similar to the type of voice you'd hear from a televised undercover informant you'd see in police shows about the mafia, or a disturbing murder case. Needless to say, the voice was very hard to distinguish.
I'm an artist of many sorts.
Another odd distorted chuckle is heard from underneath his mask. He turns his body to the camera in front of him and crosses his arms.
Allow me to paint a delightful mental picture for you which symbolizes a sense of happiness, joy, and self accomplished goals. The picture is of a shady business man, standing upon the empire of network connections and corrupt cash that he has gathered over the course of his career of highway robbery. This business man is standing above it all, with his head raised up to the heavens, staring at the sky. The look of complete relief that's painted on his face shows that he's seen the light for the first time in his very, very dark life. Underneath the empire that he stands upon is black roses and children with false, emotionless smiles. This represents what he previously believed to be "true happiness". The business man has always known that his money, his companies, and his name in the industry wasn't what true glee and happiness was really all about. No, he believed in other things, like love, and the future. Things he thought would be true happiness. He believed in the children of tomorrow, that they'd bring him a sense of accomplishment. "Hey, look, I helped them shape their lives, and they'll be the future leaders one day."
He realized one fateful day that this was all false. The true brightness, the true light he had now seen, while standing upon his empire and looking upon the heavens, was what he had now decided was true happiness.
Allow me to paint a delightful mental picture for you, which symbolizes horror, sadness, and destruction. The business man, which had now found happiness, decides to take it upon himself to burn everything down, and give back to the community. The business man that you had seen standing upon his empire of lies and deceit, now was standing at the bottom of this empire, a match in hand and a mind full of satisfactory images of destruction. He lights the building up into a blaze of glory. He thinks about the children of which he believed to be the future, the children he believed would one day rule the world. He realized that this planet was doomed.
This may seem all odd and irrelevant to you now but mark my words, you will remember this, and it will haunt you.
He stops, allowing his thoughts to sink into the viewers minds. He stops, allowing his thoughts to weasel their way into the minds of those watching. He stops, allowing his pause to work up the next thought.
I'm coming to the land of the Innovation, where the opportunities are endless. Where I will be able to paint delightful images of wrath and carnage. I'm coming to seek, and to destroy.
I'll keep in touch.
Once more, for the third and final time, the man chuckles softly. However, it doesn't remain soft and easy going. It slowly builds up, each moment that passes it gets louder, building up to a full fledged maniacal laughter. As he hits his peak, the scene fades to black, however, his chilling laugh remains.
