Hello everyone and welcome to another addition of the After-Stream! I am your host 'Smart' Mark Weiss here to break down the weekly results from this past X-Stream.
So onto my Rant of the Week:
Now there is no question that ViralPro has talented wrestlers, but one thing that is really starting to grind me the wrong way is the lack of progress of the new talent. Hood, Covair, Quinn, Cass, Brooke are all expectional talented wrestlers but have not been able to break out into that superstar role. When we look at the top of the food chain we have Nate, Matthias, Benson, International, Sid for men, and Raiyven, Jynx and Jenna for women. We need this new talent to break through the walls and challenge these top dogs in order to make the league as a whole more entertaining, and being squashed by Nate or Raiyven in 8 mins isn't that.
So let's get into the Wins and Fails:
1. First win goes to the beautiful and fine Jenna Storm who captured the HellCats Championship this week from her friend and partner JYNX. It looked late like JYNX had the momentum but when Jenna hit her new Signature move on the ladder that was all she wrote. This is a good move because Jenna is one of the best in the company and now has gold to prove it, and it free's JYNX up to challenge Raiyven for the Vixxens title next week at New Years Evil! Grats Jenna, look forward to seeing your reign!
2. My second win goes to the Bullies from the Bronx, who had yet another impressive showing this week, with a strong victory over Grave Mistakes. I would say this makes them a strong contender for being ViralPro's first Tag Team Champions as I hear tag titles may be introduced at the ppv. Keep up the good work boys ViralPro needs a few strong teams.
3. Lastly a win to Ethan Quinn. Not only did he pick up the victory over Mr. International using the Hoods finisher, but he came to the aid of Ms. Silva. We all watched in shock at what happened and he was the last one we expected to come to her aid. I believe this hands down makes him the #1 contender for the BOTN title at New Years Evil, in what I think is a must win.
Now to the Fails:
1. Sorry JYNX but your the first fail! Yes you put on two very entertaining matches and deserve that shot at the Vixxens Title, but you lost both matches after it looked like you were in firm control of them. I'm sure you'll bounce back strong and maybe even the become the New Vixxens Champ.
2. Brooke. What happened Brooke? Last month you were knocking off Raiyven and nearly took the Vixxens title from her, and now your unable to gain any traction in the womens division. Hopefully its just temporary and we'll see her get another good push to the top of the ranks.
3. This one ties into my rant. Hood and Covair are 2 up and comers lookin to prove themselves and yet in their matches they got wrecked by Matthias and Nate respectively, when it could of been a great chance for them to be considered serious threats. I think it was a missed chance on managements part. Hopefully they rebound.
Now how about the Rest of the Action:
I think it was sad that Les Taylor got the beating he took, yes he still had some moves but he was no match for Sid Reemer, and what's worse is that England was there and didn't help, and where was Bobby Williams I thought those 3 struck together.
In a surprise Tag match we seen the team of Ashe and Cass take on Goodchild and Shoque in this so called 'War'. Yes Ashe and Cass picked up the win, but why what is up with this 'Crusade' and this war they have started? Should be interesting to see how it develops.
Now onto Around the League:
Poor NEON gets so little respect from everyone that its time she broke free of her 'child' like personality and showed everyone the kind of women she really is.
Now your all probably wondering where Stryker Reed is, well I got this email from his 'representive' this morning.
Due to an undisclosed injury and personal matters to attend to, Stryker Reed has been unable to compete the last number of weeks while he delt with these matters. Rest assured that when he is ready he will return to the ring ready to pick up where he left off!
So that's it for me and another episode of the After-Stream. I am 'Smart' Mark Weiss; Tweet ya Later!
