Evan Quinn hurries through the hallways, on his way to the ring. Passing a backstage interviewer, he snatches his cordless microphone from him so that he had one as soon as he entered the ring. Looking into a nearby backstage XStream camera lens, he tells the production truck guys to hit his theme song as he continues on his way to the ring. Sure enough Evan's theme hits the speakers and he is stood out in the middle of the ring quick as a flash, ready to talk to the fans.
All week long I've been asked 'Why Evan, Why? Why did you cost Ethan Quinn his Viral championship match against Mr. international and ruin their match at the PPV?' It's fairly simple really, I got problems with both International and Ethan Quinn. Why do I got problems with them both? That's a little bit of a history lesson, so sit back and listen, friends.
Late last season Ashley Silva is skulking around IW looking to raid talent, and she was very successful at it. Raiyven has done things here that she would have never have had the opportunity to do at IW, and Ashley Milano is now one of our bright stars, blazing a new trail accross the sky instead of fading away in IW. But I'm not here to talk about Ashley Silva, or the ladies. At the same time as Ashley Silva was scouting talent, so was Mr. International. He plucked me from Classic Action Wrestling, which was the spiritual successor to the original BWA, or I guess now the spiritual predecessor to the current BWA. CAW was where us British guys were able to wrestle in the US independents, when Marty Jones weren't back home running the occasional event for charity. Back on those shows it wasn't Evan Quinn, or England that was bringing the British fans to the gate, oh no! It was The Brothers Quinn, Ethan and Evan. We were the best tag team going, no one could beat us. Not even Britain's Finest 3.0 Bobby Williams and Jacob Knight - 2.0 being Nicole Storm and Kiss Wilmington, 1.0 being Keith Williams and Brian Knight. But something happened. My brother Ethan decided that he didn't need me anymore, he was going to strike it big on his own by signing with Ashley Silva's ViralPro, as Ashley was looking to cherry pick Classic Action talent. He left me high and dry in the middle of a tag team match to be beaten down two on one, bruised, battered and broken!
The crowd boo Ethan Quinn's dastardly acts, and Evan lets them boo before he continues.
I guess Ethan had some problems with his paperwork, because he didn't debut in ViralPro for a couple of weeks. Maybe he was doing too much partying to fill in the legal paperwork properly. Meanwhile I debuted as International's lap dog 'England'. And I thought I owed International my mainstream US wrestling carreer. Me, Canada from Pro Wrestling Live, and Japan from Fuyuki Office. I did things under International's instructions that I'm not proud of. One of them was beating down an already beaten Mr. Wrestling in a four on one assault. I'm not proud of that, but I thought at the time that I had no other choice. While I was doing that for International, the stars aligned and the BWA was resurrected, and Les Taylor was able to come to ViralPro as 'England's' manager. I was able to break away from International - I even became XRated champion in a stroke of luck before losing the title quickly - and slowly put the pieces into place which would allow me to get revenge against my brother. At Ascension I thought it was going to be ''my night''. I beat a great opponent, Matthias Marlfox to become the Best On The Net champion, and as luck would have it Ethan beat Ashe to become the XRated champion. He thought he was on top of the world, until I unmasked myself and let Ethan know that England = Evan Quinn!
The crowd cheers very loudly, recalling the moment when the two champions stood in Ascension's ring, Ethan begging-off from Evan.
In that moment it was me who was on top of the world, I thought I had rattled Ethan's mind, and put him into a state of shock. What I had forgotten in my revenge plot was that despite being a arsehole my brother is also a very skilled wrestler. That night he put me down, and put me down hard. I had to regroup for a couple of weeks to decide when was the best time to strike. When could I catch him off guard and cost him the most? The ViralPro World title match against Ashe was too easy, but I could strike earlier in the night and stop Ethan and International playing their little game of circle-jerk, costing my brother the Viral title in the process. Ashe went on to defend his VP World Title successfully too. I ruined his night, and now... I will ruin his career just like he tried to leave my career for dead in the independents. I'm not saying that I'm going to steamroll over my brother, Ascension taught me that it would be foolish to expect that, but Ethan, I'm not going anywhere and I'm going to be the constant thorn in your side. All of this starts tonight, I want you in a 'Best On The Net Rules' match!
