First I just want to re-reassure I:W and ViralPro's members that although there will be crossover elements (like the previous Ashely Silva, Ashley Milano, Madi$on IW/VP storyline which will take it's next turn in I:W's new season with Brent Starr, Trinity, Angel Fyre, Madi$on), there will never be any intent to have either fed become subservient to the other. The goal is to offer two distinct flavors, which offer balance between them, and for them to help push each other to greater creative heights. The first two major crossover plans are as follows:
1. VP and IW staff are aware that tag teams are sorely missed. IW's tag belts are suspended, and VP doesn't have any yet. IW had a small handful of male tag teams last season which I found to be a fantastic read. VP, if storylines and roleplay activity come together, is looking to have a small handful of women's tag teams. Should a small tag division arise in both feds - divisions which actively receive roleplays and where feuds aren't dropped without notice - then male and female tag belts that are recognized by both companies will come into existence. For example: 3 male tag teams in each company becomes 6 male tag teams overall. 2 female becomes 4 female etc. The title holders would be expected to alternate weekly between each company's roleplay section and defend their tag belts against all comers, or if prior feud buildup was there challengers could become invited guests on the other companies' tv show for the night and try their hand at capturing the gold.
2. IW and VP are set to be in different arenas in Japan during the same month and on the same night. Not only could there be 'invasions' in roleplays as wrestlers race across Tokyo to prove they are the best in 'any' company, but the two iPPVs will be presented in a simulcast next to one another. You will see what happens at each arena exactly as it happens. Note: Unfortunately I think I will have to mute both events' sound because of the crowd noise in WWE13 being so loud, and the general unpleasantness of 'that much' sound happening at once.
