Immediately after the first match finishes, the familiar music plays signalling the appearance of Brent Starr.
The crowd looks on in utter shock as the man who comes out, doesn't appear to be the same man they last saw.
Gone is the long hair, instead it's cut shorter with a bit of a spike to it.
He's not quite clean shaven, as he has a chin strap and slight goatee replacing his old facial hair style.
He still don's the fan favorite goggles
Even his short tights, and kickpads are a completely new design.
As he makes his way down to the ring, you can tell it's not just a cosmetic change that has happened. He's even carrying himself differently.
It all becomes clearer as he reaches the ring, is handed a mic, and stands center of the ring to address the fans.
Ladies and gentlemen of the Viral Universe. I must first apologize for my absence, but as I'm told, it's all for the better anyway. For too long I was in the spotlight, and it soaked into my head, and corrupted my thinking. That is something that has plagued my career, the entire way. I feel like I deserve to be the center of attention, at all times. Even without a title, I feel like I'm the main event. That being said, I no longer feel that way. For it has become apparent that a change was needed to be made, to make me more "marketable" to you, the fans. I needed a clean look, more pleasing to the eye. Something that made me look the part I'm needed to fill. I needed an attitude adjustment, to rid the airwaves of profanity, and bullying that I was an apparent poster child of. I needed a complete overhaul from top to bottom.
You can thank your Viral Wrestling owners for this change. They paid for it, top to bottom. They recommended that I go through with it, if I wanted to remain employed here, and if I wanted to see my friends employed come our next season of combat. So, I put my childish needs aside, and am doing what is best for my friends, so that they may have jobs to come back to. I'm doing what's best for me, so that I have a job to rely on to pay the bills. I'm doing what's best for business, so that you fans can still get your dream matches before we're all retired and moved on. Finally I'm doing what's best for everyone, and everything! You all might not understand right now, what this means for everyone, but in time, you'll come to forget the Brent Starr of old.
That being said, tonight is a fresh start for me. So let's see what kind of start I'll be taking tonight. A good one with a win, or a bad one, with a loss. Only time will tell, and it relies on the man who comes out of that curtain next, to accept this open challenge to ANYONE in the back, to face me tonight, in a mandatory 2 out of 3 falls match, where I must prove to the 3 women who call the shots, that I'm a changed man, and that the change, IS for the better!
