It had been a long, long time since Benson Dane had been active in the VW roster. He had made a momentary stop going back months ago, but had no intentions on rushing into the sport again at that time. Now, though, he stood at the door of "Smart" Mark Weiss. He had some documents in his hand that he repeatedly looked down at, glancing over them as if they were notes. He smiled briefly.
He reaches out and give the door 3 solid pounds, the door letting out a large THWUNK sound. He was feeling good, and ready to roll. The man once known by many names, such as "The Great Dane" and "The Daneger Zone" was ready to reclaim those names. He awaited a response, as he muttered to himself..
I am The Great Dane.. I am The Great Dane.. I am The Great Dane... And.... I'm back.

Mark answered the door and was surprised to see Benson Dane standing there
"Benson Dane...The Great Dane...Please come in...sit sit..."
Mark took a seat behind his desk
"I gotta say I was not expecting a visit from you today Benson. Your alot bigger in person. So what do I owe the honor?"

Benson takes a step into the office, following after Mark who rounds his desk and takes a seat in his chair. Dane takes a seat facing him. His expression is a mural of glee, a smile painted on his lips and a shine radiating from his eyes.
People always forget that I'm 6'5". I know, I know, I look smaller on television when I'm standing face to face with the Nate Mike's and the Arthur York's of the business, but fact is I was build to compete..
He chuckles to himself as he places the documents he had in his hand on the table. He rotates them so that Mark can read them.
Here, though, is why I'm here. There's a few documents here which are from Viral Wrestling's legal and medical offices. The first one, you're looking at now, is the form that has cleared me to compete. As you surely know, when I was driving to a show going back awhile ago, I was in a severe car collision that left me on the "Can not compete" list. This document is clearing me from that list.
The second, is legal mumbo jumbo. Blah blah blah, insurance, all of that fun stuff.
The third one is potentially the most vital of them all, at least to me. It's a document that I signed that says I will not attempt to sue, or take any legal action for not receiving my full pay, and taking a lesser "leave" pay. I know that a lot of sports stars these days are all up and tight about the money they make. The way I see it, you guys paid me an arm and a leg compared to what I come from and I don't want to get into any court battles... I just want to come back and compete like I'm used to doing. I missed a good chunk of time off, and basically what I'm asking for is a spot on the roster again.
I'm willing to re-do the paper work on my contract to accommodate that if necessary. The most important thing for me is returning to the ring and competing again. Before my leave I was on the door step of being the World Champion, and it kills me that I never got there. I want to work back to that.

Mark takes a quick glance at the paperwork, making sure everything was in order; all the I's dotted and all the T's crossed sort of thing.
"This is excellent news to hear Benson, you know I was always I big supported of you on my blog, in fact I think I'm the one who coined "Great Dane".
So my question is now just how much ring rust do you have. You haven't really been in action much in about 24 months. If I book a match and send you out there do I need to worry about either you or your opponent getting hurt?
Idealy you'd come back and we can push you to the top to take on the likes of Matthias and Nate; but things have changed since you've been gone. Moves you onced used to finish opponents others have taken for themselves in your absence. So we are going to have to work on a way to present you back to the public. Make them remember just who Benson Dane is. Are you prepared for that?"

Dane smiles.
I'm not worried about ring rust. While I was gone with the injury, I kept up with all of my rehab and training I could do. The past couple months I've done a couple indy shows up in Canada to see where I'm at, and I feel as good as I did when I was going head to head with The Canknuckler and Goodchild. I don't feel 2 years older boss, I feel 2 years younger than I did back then. I found the fountain of youth, if you will.
As for my moves, I'm a man who can adapt and go above and beyond. I'll find something different that gets the job done as effectively and efficiently as The Steel City Slaughterhouse, and that gets the crowd as hyped up and excited.

"So here is what I really want to do. I want to get you in front of a camera and do some video promo's about your impending return. I want to push you as the future of Viral Wrestling, the next face of this company.
Then on our next X-Stream have you make your re-debut. We need you to make a statement. So we can do this 2 ways.
First: Start you off small with some dominating performances against local talent to make you look like a powerhouse
Or
We can pit you against an establish legend and hope that you bring your best to defeat him.
What do you think?"

Well, boss, I'm not a man to back down from challenges as you may know, so I will leave that totally up to you and the creative team. I'll fight a 60 year old vet or an 18 year old who's barely been outta high school and anything in between. I'll let you decide where you want me to start, and I'll break my way to the top from there.
