Lucy Youngblood steps into a Viral Wrestling ring for the first time in three years.
She had recently had a couple of matches to shake-off the ring rust in her own British Wrestling Alliance independent company, and also in Ashley Milano Fyre's Hollywood Ladies Wrestling indy fed. But tonight was going to be her in-ring return in a mainstream promotion. Ironic that Ashley Milano Fyre and her comprised the 'legends bracket' of the Viral Wrestling Vixen's Title tournament.
She takes a microphone from a stagehand and addresses the crowd.
My first time coming back to Viral in a long time. My first time wrestling inside a Viral Wrestling ring, ever. For those of you that don't know me, My name is Lucy Youngblood, and I used to own part of this company. I won't look-back too far, and I'm not here to 'take over', that crap is overdone and played-out. But what I am here to do tonight is to take part in the Viral Wrestling Vixen's Title Tournament. I will be facing Ashley Milano Fyre in the first round.
The crowd cheers at the announcement of two legendary women's wrestlers fighting it out.
I think tonight will be very interesting. Ash, I feel like you and I are mirror opposites of each other. You are one of the most decorated Women's wrestlers ever inside the ring. You've won title after title, feuded with all of the best, and now you're just starting-out on the business side of things by running you're own company, HLW. Whereas I had some noteworthy moments inside the ring early in my career, but I shined the brightest as the General Manager of this company, or the owner of another. I've run invasions into other companies and won, I've merged companies togther, and over the years I've brought the very best talent in front of our cameras for our fans. Individually we've both done it all in our respective feilds.
Lucy smiles, but then a serious look comes accross her face.
As far as my life goes right now. the reason I stepped away from owning a third of Viral Wrestling still remains true. I still have financial troubles, so I'm returning to the ring as a competitor to earn extra money. There's no shame in it for me, I'm a professinal. I will do whatever it takes to keep the British Wrestling Alliance alive, even if it isn't me running the place when it's all said and done and all the smoke has cleared. So tonight you'll be seeing a woman who's willing to do anything it takes to survive, and be successfull. While I've been shaking off the ring rust in your independent federation and y own, I hope the time you've spent in the office hasn't made you forget how to bring your best inbetween these ropes, because I want you at your best.
