Dressed in his finest suit and tie. Genesis walks into the offices of I:W. His hair tied back into a nice ponytail. Walking in his dark grey suit, with the crimson red tie and black undershirt. Sporting sunglasses so that he could pass through being unrecognized by fans and common past I:W employees. After all, it has been many, many months since this man has been seen or heard from. Rumor has it that he left quietly without a sound. Simply vanishing into thin air. Other rumors stated that he was attacked, beaten and left for dead by a group of militants in a Mafia style hit.
Whichever the case might be. It was apparent that whatever did happen to Genesis all those months ago. Somehow, someway, he lived to fight another day. Having grown his hair back out. Along with the persistent rumors that he was "dead". Obviously, this made him the last person you expected to see walking through any companies doorstep.
Genesis approached the front desk. As the woman up front welcomed him with the typical tried & true greeting that every underpaid secretary says.
Secretary: Hello, may I help you?
A coy smile slowly began to come across Genesis' face. As he replied in a soft spoken tone of voice.
Genesis: "Yes, I need to speak to either a Miss York or Lucy Youngblood if they're available?" Secretary: Well both ladies are in a meeting. If you would like, I will let them know you're here Mr...Genesis lowered his shades for a brief second. Making direct eye contact with the lady. He replies:Genesis: "My name isn't important, ma'am. What is important is that I speak with either one of them immediately." The secretary was taken back by this. She nervously fiddled around amongst her paperwork and then proceeded to hand over to Genesis a clipboard with some documents attached to it. She didn't recognize Genesis, but could tell by his voice and outward appearance. He meant business, and was not somebody you could push around.Secretary: "Well, in the meantime. I need you to fill out these forms with your basic information. Company policy to keep a file of every individual that requests a meeting with the bosses. I'm sure you understand." Genesis raises his sunglasses back up over his eyes. As he shook his head and took the clipboard from the lady.Genesis: "Really? Why am I thinking the only reason you're giving me this crap is so I could keep my mouth shut until I'm called back there?" Secretary: "Believe what you want to believe. It's the rule around here at Innovation:Wrestling. I'm just doing my job, sir."Genesis: "Fine, whatever." Genesis walked away from the secretary and took a seat nearby. As he began to fill out all the apparent 'necessary paperwork'. Genesis thought to himself.Genesis: "Why the hell do I feel like I'm in a doctor's office? This is ridiculous!" After several moments pass by. Genesis had completed his paperwork and returned it to the desk to the lady. She informed him that Miss York or Ms. Youngblood would be calling him back to there offices as soon as possible.

Miss York had been in her office for many hours trying to get contracts in order and to have tv business set before the kickoff of the new Innovation Wrestling. She was in a meeting with Ms. Youngblood to discuss talent and upcoming travel destinations. And it was apparent that she did not want to be disturbed as she wanted to conduct that type of business first. Not to mention, she had meetings set up during this week with talent to discuss their contract.
Once the meeting ended, she needed a drink of club soda as the money she just spent was well earned. She just signed a multi-billion dollar deal with a few companies around the world not to mention that she now has her own mega tv station to broadcast the company she has majority control of. After soaking the drink in her mouth, she could see that the silent buzzer on her phone was going off as she picked up the phone.
Listen Natasha this better be good. You know I had a meeting with Ms. Youngblood and some major players. I told you I did not want to be disturbed. Besides I don't have anything really for the rest of the day and need to wind down for a minute. Besides where is my staff at anyway?
Natasha was really not there to upset her but to let her know that a talent has walked in that she had no idea who he was but wanted to let her know and hoping she didn't fly off the handle.
Ma'am this guy just showed up and demanded to speak to you or Ms. Youngblood. I tried to explain to him what was going on without telling him what was going on. But he demanded to see you personally. I think he is a wrestler looking for a job. It seems I have seen him somewhere before but I can't put my finger on it. And I know how busy you are but told him to do the paperwork so we have his interest on file. Do you have time to talk to him? I mean he did come looking nice with a shirt and tie afterall?
Natasha was afraid that she may lose her job after this disturbance but felt she needed to let Miss York know.
A talent huh? With a shirt and tie? You sure it isn't a lawyer or some kind of salesman wanting a meeting with me? Because I could swear we set those up for next week as we are at the winding stages of getting things in gear. Tell you what go ahead and tell him to come in my office and take a seat. I will be waiting for him. And after the meeting, I need to talk to you privately.
Natasha didn't like the sound of that but walked over to the man and gently tapped him on his shoulder.
Sir. Miss York will see you now. You can enter through that door just past the lobby. She is waiting to see you. And good luck to whatever it is you are wanting.
Natasha went back to her seat as she was worried to know what her and Miss York would discuss later.

Genesis hands the secretary back the necessary paperwork he had to fill out earlier. Which, he thought was a complete waste of time. Nevertheless, he gets up from his chair and makes a B-line to Miss York's office. In truth, he was just eager to meet the new bosses of I:W than anything else. Plus, he needed to speak with her about his role in the federation, if any, pending on if an agreement could be met between the two.
Genesis walks in to York's office, as the door was left open for him to enter. To Genesis, it was kinda weird walking into a place that well run and operated. When Lionheart ran the show. Everything was a massive clusterfuck. So to see the place be turned upside down for the good was refreshing to see.
He approaches Miss York, and smiles. Knowing the two have never met before. A proper introduction was needed, and he was eager to get down to business afterwards.
Genesis: "Miss York I presume?" Genesis lowers his sunglasses and puts them in his front pocket. The two make eye contact as Gen. extends his hand out.Genesis: "My name is Roman Alexander Withrow. Professionally, you may have heard about me through reputation as "Genesis", my codename that I lived by for over eight years and counting. If not, that's okay. I don't expect you to know who I am. But what I have to speak with you about today may alter the course of this company forever. If you will be so kind as to give me a chance and hear me out for a second. I promise, it won't take too long." Upon meeting Miss York. Genesis came off very charming and sincere. He may have been a professional wrestler. But he was a smart business man and had a knack for marketing. Not only that, he was very creative. First impressions are everything, and since this company was being ran by two completely different individuals. He felt like may stand a chance now. Rather than deal with the predecessors that came before them.

Miss York welcomes him to her office as she offers her hand to shake his. They shake each others hand as they both sit down. Her in her chair and him in the chair in front of her. Nice to meet you Mr. Withrow. I never got the invitation that you were coming as I do meet and will meet with everyone interested in being a part of the New Innovation Wrestling. And I can tell with you being here that you were a part of what was the old and now we are moving in a new direction. That direction is on my shoulders now and things will be done differently.
Now many don't understand why some hotel billionaire would even want to be a part of the professional wrestling scene. I don't have experience in that field or don't ever want to be. But I am a woman with power and money. Men to the most degree can't handle that part of it. They don't like the fact that a woman is calling the shots but I will say this to you and that is things will run differently then when the men ran this place. That is why I wanted a woman to run the company that I have majority control over.Natasha brings both some beverages to drink while they had their meeting. Miss York is that all? That is all for now. Please make sure I am not disturbed until me and Mr. Withrow are done with our meeting. Thank you Natasha.Natasha leaves as she shuts the door and leaves them to their meeting. Now as far as who you are? Well I can be honest I don't know many of the wrestlers. I am merely a woman with a financial interest here. I did get the buyrate sheets before I bought the company so I do have an understanding of who brings the fans and who does not. I also understand that I am looking to have a new looking company. But that does not mean I will axe the veteran talent. What that does mean is if we are gonna compete with the likes of Viral Pro then we have to make adjustments. I did not like when I bought this company that they stole some of the assets here but I am a bitch and don't mind saying it as I have and will play that card and steal what I can so we are not in 2nd place. I will with the help of my staff will bring this company to where it was in the mid 2000's.
So you know where I stand on this company as I will instruct my staff and personnel where we are going. And have done so with a handful of talent already. So Mr. Withrow what are you willing to do for me and the New Innovation Wrestling? So we can conduct some business if it is worth my wild. Because I am in the business of making money and not burning it.Miss York looks at Mr. Withrow to see why he really came in to see her. Was he there to get a job or offer his services in another way. She was ready to put her gloves on and start punching Viral Pro in the mouth.

Genesis took a sip of his drink that was given to him by Natasha, and carefully listened to everything Miss York had to say. Once all that had soaked in to his brain. He leaned back into the chair and smiled. Already loving what he was hearing from this lady. Needless to say, he was impressed.Genesis: "Well, with all due respect ma'am. I like to make my appearances spontaneous and furthermore, I wasn't told before hand that I needed to make an appointment first. Forgive me, but I guess I'm still used to the way Lionheart ran business. So it's kinda weird to walk into a well organized, 'corporate' structure for a change. Which is more of a compliment on my part to you and I:W really." Genesis leaned forward and sat his drank back on the table. Moving his hands and arms around afterwards as he spoke to show that he was serious about what he was about to offer Miss York on behalf of the company.Genesis: "Like The Avenger, Angel Fyre and likely a couple of others. Yes, I used to be apart of the old regime years ago. I was here through the rise and fall of this company. I was never the nicest and jolliest guy to be around. Hell, I'll admit, I'm an asshole and I love playing that role whenever I got the opportunity to do so. Which was both a blessing and a curse. My career skyrocketed because I ran down a few people verbally and had the balls to back it up. Without a care in the world of what the fans or the roster thought of me. I lived and died on my skills alone, Miss York in those days. So, without coming off too arrogant and self-confident. I know what I'm doing in this line of work.
I agree with you completely that Viral Pro is a solid, legit competitor. They have some incredible talent there, no question about that. But that's not why I'm here obviously. You see, I'm here to offer my services to this company. I wanna be out there where I can help the talent out. Particularly the upstarts that are just learning the ropes. I'm not here to jump back into the squared circle and go to war with everybody like in the past. Those days are over, and I've got nothing left to prove in that field. I want to see these guys develop their characters and evolve. I believe a good, healthy mix of new talent and veterans is the key to success, Miss York. I believe if guys like myself are placed in a position to where it's going to help benefit the younger talent, rather than feed the craving of an old veteran wanting one more shot in the spotlight. We will stand a good, fighting chance at being the #1 organization in the world. Thus, improving the company and building a new legacy around these guys. Rather than having to rely on the vets to increase the ratings, draw money and sell merchandise. No offense, but you can only push a guy like The Avenger to the moon for so long before it gets old. No disrespect intended for the guy, since he and I go way back. Same can be said for me. I can't just walk in and dominate the company. It needs to be centered around a good handful of guys that are hungry for the spotlight. Viral Pro has a very good youth movement going on right now, and we need to do something to counteract that and draw interest back to I:W. And I wanna help out, and give back to the company that gave me my start." Genesis reaches in to his front pocket and pulls out a document. He unfolds the paper and slides it across the desk to Miss York for her to see.Genesis: "I'll summarize the details of this document for you, Miss York. During the time of my absence from mainstream wrestling. I have founded and financed a small, independent organization called "EMERGE!" I originally intended for the company to grow and eventually become a mainstream success. Much like I:W has done, along with Viral Pro and countless other organizations that proceeded them. In time, I learned that what the business truly needs is a place for young talent to showcase and hone there skills in the ring and on the microphone. EMERGE is that place where young, new talent can be born and even where some veterans can be rediscovered.
The point is, Miss York. I'm not looking for buyouts or anything of that sort. I'm simply extending my company to you on a silver platter on a talent exchange deal. Difference being, instead of me taking the talent from you in exchange for EMERGE's. I will offer the talent from EMERGE to I:W, in hopes they will shine and help this company grow to a whole other level. I'm looking for exclusivity, ma'am and I want I:W to be an exclusive partner to my organization. As we both work together to help promote and grow a bigger, broader and 'new' I:W that can appeal to all wrestling fans." Genesis than proceeded to relax a little bit more and sit back in his chair. Feeling very confident that this could be a deal that Miss York, nor I:W, couldn't resist.Genesis: "I'm not here for a hefty paycheck, ma'am. To be honest, I'm financially set for life. So I'll take the bare minimal pay if I have to in order to work for this company officially again. Not just for the sake of my own promotion, but towards the growth of I:W. From what little you have told me. You seem to have a very good, and level-head on your shoulders, Miss York. A smart, yet keen business woman that wants only the best for her company. So... I believe after today. We can find someway of cutting a deal to where it benefits the both of us, and this organization. If you need some time to think and discuss this over with Mrs. Youngblood. I have no problem with that whatsoever. Although, I would like an answer as soon as possible. Because if I:W doesn't accept, I have to go out and look for other organizations that may be interested. As a business woman, I hope you understand that."

Miss York found everything to be very interesting as she was a business woman looking to expand her horizons.
Well there looks to be some interest I must say. There are things I do need to talk to Ms. Youngblood about. But the running of this company falls on my shoulders and really not on hers. Her job is basically the ownership in which I gave her. I wanted to run things as others before me failed in doing so. So whatever decisions contracts or wrestling hires falls directly on me. I do get advice from other sources as a woman as successful as myself just don't go through hoops just because of the outer appearance. For instance not everything shiny is gold. You catch my drift don't ya Mr. Withrow?
Now I am interested in your services but you really never told me much about what you wanted to do for me and the new Innovation Wrestling. All you really spoke about was this company you founded and financed since your absence? But you are here and the rest of your wrestlers are not? So let me break it down for ya if I can. I just don't give contracts without meeting who I am paying. I mean you don't buy a car without a test drive do ya?
If your wrestlers or company is willing to come to the new Innovation Wrestling then I need to meet them and grant them contracts personally. I am an equal opportunity employer and looking at making this transition a good one for everyone including yourself. I plan on paying everyone what they are worth no matter if they feel they don't need the money or not. Because we are all here for the money and recognition no matter what our mouth speaks. Our heart always speaks otherwise.
So this is what I want from you Mr. Withrow. I want you to explain to me what I am paying you for? What role are you wanting with this company and maybe we can come to some type of agreement or negotiation and give me the names of these wrestlers and lets set up a meet so I can personally grant them contracts and welcome them to the family. You can join them if you like as their representative if you don't trust me. Besides it was your company and really we are wanting them to be a part of the one I just bought. Does that sound fair enough to you?

Genesis laughed to himself. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. Did he not just tell Miss York why he was here in the first place BEFORE talking to her about a potential partnership with EMERGE? I mean, is it not that hard to sit back and listen to what your potential client has to say?
Genesis: *Sighs* Like I said, Miss York. I'm here to help the company out. YOUR company! Hence, my purpose of being in your office talking to you now. The stuff with EMERGE was simply a side offer. I figured instead of having the same 5-6 people running around in your ring week after week. You would like to see some new talent in your federation. From what I've been seeing behind the scenes. You barely have a 1/4th of the roster Viral Pro has, and to be frank, it's no wonder they're kicking this companies ass. I understand I:W is in a rebuilding phase, and I respect that. I've been there and done that.
Don't worry about my EMERGE talent. The reason they aren't here is because I wanted to see if you was even remotely interested in the idea. If you was, than I was going to setup a potential meeting with some of my clients. Perhaps have them show you what they can do in the ring as well. But... if you wasn't interested and feel like it's a complete waste of your time and this companies resources. Than we can forget that part of the deal and just focus purely on what I can do in your organization.
THEN, after you see what my guys can do. They can meet with you in private and discuss a potential deal with I:W if both sides feel it's the best move for the future of this business. I never said, nor do I expected you to just hand out a contract to anybody that walks through your door, Miss York. Now if you were Chris Lionheart? Maybe so, but you seem at least more intelligent and business savvy than he ever was. So, I'll cut you some slack and give you that as a compliment.
My role is simple, Miss York. In addition to being a mouth-piece as part of your 'on-air' talent regime for ShowDown and all your Pay-Per-View telecasts. Stick me with a talent, any talent, and I will make sure they get over like rover ma'am. That's my job. Outside of that, I want to be involved on the creative spectrum of the league if it's possible. If not, perhaps I can lend my services to the talent as a mentor or a guide to show everyone how it's done from telling a story to taking bumps to simply speaking on a microphone. As for my part in EMERGE. I will gladly be a Representative for them here. Now, from the moment they sign a deal here. I'm turning those guys officially over to you under your watch. What they do from that moment on is your responsibility. I can't make any promises, Miss York that everyone you sign from EMERGE is going to be a 'diamond in the rough' character. But what I can tell you is they will shake up the ground this foundation was built nine years ago.
So... with that being said. Ball is in your court, Miss York. We can either work out a deal, or I can walk out of your office and go to the next company. I'm here for the absolute best interests of your company. If that's not what you want or looking for? Than I can respect that, and walk away with my head held high and wish you the best of luck." Miss York and Mr. Withrow seemed to have an understanding if not an agreement.
Well it seems we are seeing things as a whole. I am interested but numbers on a roster don't always mean quality of a roster. One thing is certain and that is our rag teams have dominated theirs. Something I am proud of. So with everything in my court count my interest level up. And since this is your guys I wanted you to be a part of the negotiationd.
One thing is they will be treated fairly. They give me thei all then I see good things for them. And as for you? I know you were s nsme by the reports I got when buying this company. Not gonna force you in the ring but this company is on the right foot. With a better tv deal they ever hsd and a time slot that will spark finsncial growth for this company.
So Mr. Withrow we are in agreement and let's see whst your guys are made of. Our first show airs Feb 24th. I expect you and the talent to be there.
Miss York hands Mr. Withrow his contract.
Take a look as this is your contract. The ball is in your court. You want to be a part of the new Innovation Wrestling? You want to promote the young guys? Well sign the contract and let's do business. Take the contract to your agent or lawyer. Sleep on it. Make your decision and let Emerge know they are welcome here.

Genesis picks up the contract and carefully reads over the fine print before signing. He felt he could trust Miss York, but in this business. You never can be too sure. Hell, he could be signing his death warrant for all he knew.
After a moment of reading things, everything seemed to be in order and he felt confident this was gonna be a dawning of a new working relationship once the deal had been sealed. Gen. picked up a pen and signed his name on the dotted line. Officially making him apart of the roster. He than slides the contract on the table back over to Miss York and replies.
Genesis: "No problem ma'am. February 24th is perfect. You can expect me to be there with a few special guests in toe. Plus, you never know who I might have scattered throughout the arena in attendance. I agree that at the end of the day. It's a matter of quality over quantity. As for my athletes, you will find nothing but quality men and women from my roster. Each have there own strengths and weaknesses, but I feel that with the proper guidance and direction. They can evolve and be taken to a higher level." Genesis stood up from his chair and smiled, as he extended his hand out to Miss York.Genesis: "It's been a pleasure meeting you, Miss York. I can speak for myself, and my talent roster that we will look forward to working with you and I:W in hopes to growing this organization back to what I believe it can be again."

Miss York shakes the hand of Mr. Withrow.
Nice doing business with you. Just a few weeks and the new Innovation Wrestling hits. It's gonna be hot!
Miss York collects the contract and puts it in her briefcase.

Genesis nods with a smile from ear to ear. As he takes his leave from Miss York's office. Shutting the door behind him as he walked out. He figured his 'new boss' has alot of business to attend to after-all. Such as the saying goes: "The more things change. The more they stay the same." For Genesis, perhaps things did finally change for the better around I:W. Everything is now a big wait & see from both sides. Can Genesis live up to his word and help I:W out? Will either Miss York or Lucy Youngblood find a way to screw Genesis over down the road, as payback for past grievances? Only time will tell folks.
