Divide plays over the speakers as Manor makes his way out to the ring wearing an eye patch over one eye and holding a pair of crutches as the crowd boos. Despite the crutches he's clearly not injured as he makes his way to the ring sometimes using them, sometimes walking just fine like he forgot he's supposed to be injured.
Once he makes it into the ring, he asks for a mic, which a stage hand tries to hand him through the ropes. However, that's not good enough as he yells as the man to get into the ring and hold it in front of his mouth for him. The man does and Manor just scowls at him. Did you really expect me to hold the mic myself? Can't you see I'm injured? That I'm apparently suffering a horrible case of victimitis!?
Manor shakes his head before continuing. I swear the help around is absolutely useless. Another pause as he takes a deep breath and acts like he's getting into character. Last week I was the victim of a man with no honor. A man who leaves me injured and unable to compete until Gladiator Warfare where I will be the sixth person to enter the match as compensation.
And despite the fact that YOUR champion could have left me crippled. Despite the fact I could blinded in one ... Manor stops as he adjusts the eye patch to cover the left eye due to a slight itch he got in his right eye. Despite the fact I could be blinded in one eye, permanently. Despite all that, I will compete in that match. And I will win.
Manor gets ready to say something, however something a fan says catches his attention as he drops the crutches and spreads his arms out telling the fan to come get a piece. Eventually he picks the crutches back up and resumes trying to make his voice sound like he's worn down. Because that is what a real champion of the people does. They don't try to end someone's career, by wearing a dangerous mask to the ring. They don't go silent when they win a shot at the title. They don't invade someone else's show. Or use illegal choke holds. They don't... Suddenly Manor is cut off as someone's music begins to play over the speakers.
