She sat herself on one side of a board room table that she had paid for on her own. Her father had no knowledge of this meeting, or what was about to come of it.
She had made the separate phone calls in hopes that they would both respond, and cooperate. She thought "perhaps even if one showed up, and liked the idea, the two of them could work on the other to agree as well.
She had a folder full of papers, contracts and print offs of ratings, and other numbers that mattered to the business.
Finally, the two women arrive, much to the surprise of Ashley Silva.
Fantastic, you both came.
The two take their seats opposite of Ashley Silva
Now, before I proceed with why we are all here, I'd just like to let you both know that my Father knows nothing of this, and it's something I want to pursue on my own, away from his influence in hopes of proving myself "worthy" to the even higher ups.
Now, as you both know, since Viral Pro opened, the ratings have sky rocketed. Not just for us, but for you guys as well. It's healthy competition, and it's got the fans interested in the product as a whole. It's rejuvenated the business, and frankly, our two shows are the top two rated shows on television. We leapfrog each other for #1, but the point is, we're both top tier companies with enough money to basically run everyone else out of business. I mean, look at the facts, our shows are consistent, we're always making headlines, and our talent is top of the world.
She clears her throat and readies herself for the pitch.
Apart, we're merely working against each other and robbing the fans of what they truly want to see. Sure, we're working cross branded and allowing the talent to cross the lines. Yes, we have titles that are being shared between the companies and it's giving us some great match ups. But what if we could just combine the two companies into one giant collective of everything that is right in this business.
Lucy, you've got your thumb on the pulse of the indies, and companies around the world hold you in high regard due to your past involvements with their companies, and their talent.
Miss York, you're passionate about women's wrestling, and you're knowledge of the women around the world is second to none. You can get these girls to put on matches that, quite frankly, outshine the men on any given night.
Not to toot my own horn, but I've got the youth, and the media know how, to take any company, even on it's darkest day, and pick it up and make it shine like new, real fast.
Now, combined, we're three powerful women in a mans world it seems, who alone could give them a run for their money, but together, we can rule the world of wrestling. We can give the fans matches they thought they would never see happen. We all have untapped talent pools to expose, and bring to the forefront of the industry. If we pool it all together, we can make history. I'm not talking about buying you guys out, or you guys buying us out. I mean taking what we have, our contacts, our contracts, our TV spots and agreements with arenas around the world, and put them under one roof, and make a company, a new company out of it all.
She stopped there to gauge their reactions, or hear what they had to say
