Hi Everyone, how you are all well and currently enjoying the holidays. I've done many different styles of these over the years, some filled out, some not. On one hand we want to get a sense of whom the characters/wrestlers are, but on the other it can be daunting for new members to have to fill-out long biographies, or a chore for roleplayers with long-standing characters.
I do believe registration character biographies are important, as I do the probation period to see if they stand the test of time or are a passing fancy. Here is what I have so far (quoted at the bottom), and why I have it that way. Can you guys think of anything that I have missed that you think should be in the registration biography?

Here is what I have so far (quoted at the bottom), and why I have it that way. Can you guys think of anything that I have missed that you think should be in the registration biography?
- I think its easiest to have one registration area to keep the board from being too cluttered. And in that registration template to have a place to list what company (I:W, ViralPro, or one of the many independents) the character is aligned with/going to be aligned with.
- I do think that the basic information which forms the character background (age, height, weight, place of birth) and the wrestling persona (such as a quick description of moveset/fighting style along with the special moves (signatures and finishers)) should be established first, so that we have a sense of whom everyone is, especially for new characters. Lonnger character histories aren't discouraged, but it can again be daunting for new members to read one characters war and peace story. Moving these to the end of the biography makes them more 'optional' reading material.
- I think character and career history can often overlap, especially if a character lives their gimmick or makes big personal changes which directly hinge on important matches or moments in their career. And I know that if a wrestler has a long career it can be hard to pick out the 'standout' matches, title reigns etc. in a wall of text. So it's probably best to lump Character and Career History together, and then have a separate section for Career Accolades & Championship History.
- I won't put things like 'theme song', 'attribute settings', or 'caw search tags' into the character bio, as there will be individual threads for keeping up to date with those in the OOC board.

Character/Career History:
Bobby Williams was head-hunted to TNB by Lucy Youngblood in 2009, against his father's wishes. Keith Williams had felt his son was not yet ready for the wrestling business and the harshness of it. It was revealed at Abomination 2009 that whilst a younger Chris Lionheart was training under Keith Williams, he botched a move, which had tragic consequences for The Williams'. Due to Lionheart's mistake, Bobby Williams was left without a mother. Reportedly he has never forgiven Lionheart for that, despite pretending having done so for his father's benefit on a number of occasions.
Despite always being 'around' TNB, Bobby didn't do very much in front of a TV camera in 2009, spending most of his time in ProWrestlingLive under the training of his father Keith Williams and Lucy Youngblood. Towards the end of 2010 that would change in a big way. The crazed Ryan Blaze would kidnap the young Williams in a ploy to lure Chris Lionheart into a trap, and beat Bobby to the point of injuring him. This incident was said to be the breaking point in the relationship between Lionheart and Keith Williams, as Keith had always previously looked after his most successful trainee's best interests and had forgiven him for the causing the death of his wife. In turn, Lionheart had made Keith TNB's official trainer when Keith received his own career-ending injury in 2007, as a way to try to make up for past wrongs. Keith was determined not to lose his son to another Lionheart mistake, and by the end of 2010 he had seized control of the company from Lionheart, whom was retired from in-ring competition when he was bested by Ryan Blaze at Rise To Stardom 2: Blaze Of Glory.
In 2010 Bobby Williams was finally ready to take his first real steps out onto the main stage of the pro wrestling world. Although he usually threw his father's position of authority around, booking matches as though he himself had the power, for the brief time he competed he was very active, involved in multiple-person matches revolving around the I:W World Class title. Bobby suffered an injury at May's TNB Abomination pay per view which put him on the sidelines, but it would not be the only heartache he felt this year. A mere two months later, at July's TNB AllStars, his father committed suicide Live on Pay Per View!
Bobby went into temporary hiding, with everyone's attempts to contact him proving futile. In early 2012 Bobby stunned family friend and trainer Lucy Youngblood by taking Arianna as a manager over her. Lucy fired-back by returning to England and recruiting Tyler McMoore. Williams and McMoore would face-off against one another in Britain at I:W's Survive & Conquer Pay Per View. The 60 minute Iron Man match was in memory of Keith Williams, and Bobby beat Tyler by the skin of his teeth with a back suplex pin at 23 seconds left, making the score 19-18.
Bobby occasionally showed-up in FallOut matches after that but it was clear that this young man was searching for direction, and wouldn't make a 'real' comeback until he felt he could do his father's memory proud. All that is known for certain right now is that Bobby recently renewed his I:W contract throughout 2013 with some changes, which were negotiated with Lucy Youngblood.

- Defeated Tyler McMoore 19-18 in a 60minute 'Keith Williams Tribute' Iron Man Match.
